SHIPPING POLICY

1. Delivery Charges

We offer free delivery for orders over R500 to major cities in South Africa: Cape Town, Johannesburg, Pretoria (Central), Durban, Port Elizabeth (PE), Pietermaritzburg (PMB), and Bloemfontein. Orders under R500 (after any discounts applied) will incur a delivery fee.

For regional orders outside the major cities listed above, the delivery fee is based on the total order value:​

2. Delivery Timeframes

We strive to deliver orders as quickly as possible. Most deliveries to major cities arrive within 48 hours. However, unforeseen circumstances may cause delays. Please allow up to 72 hours (3 business days) for your order to arrive. Certain specialty items may have extended delivery times as indicated on the product page. For remote and outlying areas, please allow up to 10 working days for delivery.

3. Stock Shortages

If a product you order is:

  • Temporarily unavailable: We will notify you of the expected delay and offer you the option to wait for the product, receive a substitute product, or receive a full refund (including any delivery charges) or store credit for the amount paid.

  • Discontinued/permanently unavailable: We will notify you and offer you a full refund (including any delivery charges) or store credit for the amount paid, or the option to receive a substitute product (if available).

4. Delivery Times

Standard deliveries are made Monday to Friday between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM. Weekend and public holiday deliveries may incur additional charges. While we try our best to accommodate specific delivery requests, confirmation can only be provided by our customer service team after your order is received and paid for.

5. Late Deliveries

The Electronic Communications and Transactions Act (ECT Act) 25 of 2002 allows you to cancel your order within 7 days if the products are not delivered within the agreed timeframe as specified in our Delivery Policy. This excludes any lead times mentioned on specific product pages. If you choose to cancel an undelivered order, you can either refuse the package upon delivery or return it to us in its original condition. Please contact our customer service team for order cancellations at info@bossbeds.co.za or call +27 63 663 4612. We will process your refund according to our Refund Policy.

RETURN & EXCHANGE POLICY

We understand that sometimes things don't go as planned. To ensure a smooth unfair process we have established this comprehensive return policy to guide you through the return of items to us.

Conditions for Return (shortened):

  • You have 7 days from the date of purchase or delivery (whichever is later) to initiate a return.

  • You must provide proof of purchase (a receipt or email order confirmation) with the order number and invoice number.

  • The item must be in unused, with its original packaging, unless it's damaged or faulty.

  • The item must be on our list of returnable items (See our full returns policy).

  • And all items associated with said items must be returned as well. (any and all accessories)

Due to the nature and use of products we have a 3-month warranty on our items.

Should the item have a manufacturing issue in this time period. We will cover costs of returning and repairing the products as well as, the cost of delivery back to you.

Conditions for Return:

1. Initiating a Return: You have a 7-day window from the date of purchase or delivery (whichever is later) to initiate a return. This timeframe allows you ample opportunity to inspect the item and decide if it meets your expectations.

2. Proof of Purchase: To facilitate the return process, we require a valid proof of purchase, such as a receipt or order confirmation email. This documentation helps us verify the transaction and ensures a seamless return experience for you.

3. Item Condition: The item must remain in pristine condition, unopened and unused, with all original packaging intact, except in cases of damage or faults. We understand the importance of receiving products in their original state, and this condition ensures that returned items are suitable for resale or repair.

4. Eligible Items: Items that may not be returned are: customized items, items that are on sale, items that have been repaired and sold, items where you have been made aware that the item may have a fault and or is considered a rejected manufacturing item. If you have any doubts about the eligibility of an item, please contact our customer service team for assistance.

5. Associated Items: In addition to the main product, all associated accessories and components must be included in the return package. This requirement ensures that the returned item is complete and ready for inspection or processing. As well as, to ensure that no fraud is taking place.

 

Warranty Coverage:

In recognition of the trust you place in us when purchasing our products, we offer a 3-month warranty on all eligible items. This warranty provides you with peace of mind, knowing that your purchase is protected against manufacturing defects and faults.

Should any manufacturing issues arise within this warranty period, we are committed to providing prompt and reliable assistance. We will cover all costs associated with returning and repairing the product, including delivery expenses. Our goal is to minimize any inconvenience caused and ensure that you continue to enjoy the benefits of your purchase.

Boss Beds (PTY) LTD sells premium pet products online.

The purchaser recognizes and accepts that the utilization of any product acquired from our website entails inherent risks. By engaging with the products sold on the Boss Beds (PTY) LTD website, the purchaser/user expressly acknowledges and assumes all associated risks. In doing so, the purchaser/user agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Boss Beds (PTY) LTD from and against any and all claims, demands, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or in connection with the use or misuse of the products sold on our website.

 

It is understood that the purchaser/user assumes full responsibility for any consequences, including but not limited to injury, damage, or loss, resulting from the use of the products. This indemnification extends to all parties associated with the purchaser/user's interaction with the products, including but not limited to family members, guests, pets, or any other individuals who may come into contact with the products.

 

Furthermore, the purchaser/user agrees to exercise due diligence and caution when using the products and to strictly adhere to any instructions, warnings, or guidelines provided by Boss Beds (PTY) LTD or the product manufacturer. Failure to do so may increase the risk of injury or damage and could affect the purchaser/user's eligibility for indemnification under this policy.

 

It is important to note that Boss Beds (PTY) LTD takes every precaution to ensure the safety and quality of the products offered on our website. However, we cannot guarantee the effectiveness or suitability of any product for a particular purpose, as individual circumstances may vary. Therefore, the purchaser/user is encouraged to conduct their own research and seek professional advice if necessary, before using any product.

 

By purchasing products from Boss Beds (PTY) LTD the purchaser/user acknowledges their understanding of and agreement to the terms outlined in this indemnification clause. This agreement shall be binding upon the purchaser/user and their successors, assigns, heirs, and legal representatives.

 

1. How do I log a return?

All you need to do is contact us on info@bossbeds.co.za with your invoice and order number or the confirmation email you received when making purchase through www.bossbeds.co.za.

2. Non-defective products (your right to return)

For certain exceptional cases (including free products or gifts received during a promotion, on special, advertised on the site), you are entitled to return any purchase concluded on www.bossbeds.co.za within 7 days of the product(s) being delivered. In order to obtain a purchase price refund, the product(s) being returned must be sent back to Boss Beds (PTY) LTD in accordance with the return procedure set out in clause 4 below.

Consequently, if upon receiving your purchase you are not satisfied with your choice of product(s) and wish to return it for a refund, please retain the product(s) original packaging and do not open the product.

For such reasons you will be responsible for the courier fee to return the product.

If the incorrect product is delivered to you by mistake (i.e. it is not the product you purchased), please do not remove the product from its original packaging or use the product at all. Please promptly contact Boss Beds (PTY) LTD Via email info@bossbeds.co.za or call on 0636634612 to notify Boss Beds (PTY) LTD. So that we can resolve the mistake by arranging to collect the incorrect product and deliver the correct product to you as quickly as possible.

 

3. Defective products

General warranty:

If within 3 months after delivery of a product to you:

You find that the product is defective/faulty, unsuitable for the purpose generally intended (or otherwise expressly indicated by Boss Beds (PTY) LTD at time of purchase, or not legal or reasonably durable (based on the circumstances and product type) (“defective”); and – you arrange to return such product to Boss Beds (PTY) LTD for inspection in accordance with the returns procedure in clause 7 below, and the product is subsequently found to indeed be defective, you are entitled to either – (a) be fully refunded, or (b) have the product repaired or replaced at Boss Beds (PTY) LTD expense (the decision between repairing or replacing being that of Boss Beds (PTY) LTD depending on availability and other relevant circumstances, and in this regard you acknowledge that Sale/ On Special products will only be able to be repaired).

If the product is found NOT to be defective, you will NOT be entitled to any repair, replacement or refund but will instead be liable for the costs incurred in having such product returned to Boss Beds (PTY) LTD and then redelivered to you.

 

When is a product defective?

Please note: the following are examples of things which will NOT be regarded as defects and will NOT entitle you to any repair, replacement, or refund under the general warranty above: faults resulting from normal wear and tear; damage arising from incorrect usage of the product.

  

4. Exclusions

You may not under any circumstances return the following:

Products that you or any other person has altered, repaired, incorporated, or added to where such alteration, repair, incorporation, or addition has not been unauthorized by Boss Beds (PTY) LTD.

 

Refund/s

A refund will take place within 10 business days of the returned item having been cleared by Boss Beds (PTY) LTD quality control, the money will be refunded back in the form of electronic funds transfer EFT, unless specified that a store credit or a swop out is preferred.

Refund process are generally between 20-30 business days.

 

5. Processing of credits and refunds

Where your Boss Beds (PTY) LTD account has been credited, you will be entitled to use such credit towards other purchases made by you on the site. Please note that if you’ve requested a refund as a credit on your profile it is considered a final decision and cannot be changed to another credit option later.

If you bought a sale item/s and want to return the item/s, the reduced price will be paid back to you and not the full price.

If you want to return an item that you paid the full amount for but is now on sale, you have the option of receiving the refund back in a full amount as credit on your profile or in the form of cash in your account.

However, If the product has already been delivered to you.

You will be liable for the courier costs of returning the product to Boss Beds (PTY) LTD.

As the return is at no fault of Boss Beds (PTY) LTD.

If you redeemed a voucher against your purchase and wish to return the item(s) from that purchase, the rand value paid for the item/s being returned will either be refunded or credited to your account. The value of the voucher that was redeemed will not be refunded to you or credited to your account. Rather, Boss Beds (PTY) LTD will re-issue you with a replacement voucher to the same value, with the same voucher terms and conditions.

 

6. Fraud Prevention

Boss Beds (PTY) LTD reserves the right to refuse, in the interest of fraud prevention, processing any payment for any order, and/or to cancel any purchase partially or completely, with notice given to you. Boss Beds (PTY) LTD will be responsible for returning funds for the cancelled portion of the order to you only if you have already paid such funds.

Boss Beds (PTY) LTD undertakes that it has taken all reasonable precautions to secure the credit card processing that is carried out to receive payment for goods sold. Boss Beds (PTY) LTD cannot be held responsible for security breaches occurring on the users electronic device (Personal Computer or other electronic device used to browse the Website), which may result due to the lack of adequate virus protection software or spyware that the User may inadvertently have installed on his/her device.
